Surfside Estates is a private, resident owned, 55+, co-op community located between the ocean and intra-coastal waterway in Beverly Beach, Florida. Surfside offers a wealth of social and recreational activities and beautiful natural surroundings.
The Town of Beverly Beach, Florida, was incorporated in 1955. Since that time the town has not grown in physical size, remaining less than one square mile, but its population has increased to more than 550 residents. About two thirds of the residents live in Surfside Estates. The remaining citizens live in single family homes on both sides of State Road A1A, which bisects the town, or in three new communities built on the west side of the highway in the past several years. These communities are Sunset Inlet, Osprey Point and Oceanside Condominium.
Beverly Beach’s government organization consists of a mayor and five commissioners. All are elected positions, with each having two-year terms, without term limit restrictions. Elections are supervised by the Flagler County Elections Supervisor and are held in the Town Hall.
Outside of the community, all roads lead to fun, adventure and cultural enrichment with historic St. Augustine and Palm Coast to the north, quaint Flagler Beach to the south along the Atlantic Ocean and Daytona Beach to the south with Orlando and Walt Disney World to the southwest. Surfside Estates is just minutes from shopping, hospitals, banks, fine dining and other key services and facilities.
